Right Here; Right Now

Hey all,

It’s taken me around fifteen minutes to think of an opening line for this blog, and hell, as you can see, it didn’t really get me anywhere. I thought, with this being the first blog post and everything, I’d just introduce myself, put across some of my own basic beliefs and give you a basis on what some of my up coming blog posts could relate too, and why.

Well, I’m just a fifteen year old boy from Manchester, England, battling my way through GCSE Coursework and revision. It’s not really as hard as I expected, just a lot more work than I thought I’d be doing, but hey, that’s school. My interests consist of writing, which I vary with stories, poems, lyrics, scripts etc. I enjoy this as it gives me a chance to express my ideas and emotions onto paper without anyone criticising me. I also enjoy reading, I have no real preference of Genres, but I do enjoy a good action/horror book. My football team is Manchester United. I’m no glory hunter, just a mere supporter brought up in a red family who enjoys watching my team play occasionally. Erm, I also enjoy music. From listening to it, to singing out loud, I think Music is a good way to relax and occupy me when I’m sitting on the bus or waiting for my parents to pick me up when I’m out late from school.

Moving on, my blog posts will be influenced by many different things. It could be the environment around me, such as things I see on the street, words I hear in a shop etc. Or, it could be due to what my friends have said, or a problem they or I am facing at the current time. Also, media, such as TV shows, the news, newspapers etc. I could be influenced by everything in theory, so don’t just expect things related to that.

This Blog post seems very vague I know, and not in the slightest interesting, but bare with me, I’m sure to have something spark of an idea for a subject I can write about. The main reason I’m writing this blog, is because my main ambition at the moment is to become a Journalist, and writing articles of specific articles would probably help me on my way. Someone once said to me ‘Small steps’. This is just another step I suppose.

Thanks for Reading,

Tom. F
